The old town of Puerto Plata is home to many attractions. A few of our favorites include the tobacco shop where you can buy cigars and Mama Juana, and you can also watch the process in which they make both of these.
We usually opt for the cheaper transportation options while traveling. Transportation can eat up a budget pretty quickly, so my view is that I would rather stretch my dime in order to be able to spend that money elsewhere.
It has been said that experience teaches us life’s greatest lessons. I believe the people who understand this the most are travelers. Experience gives us a first hand view of the world, and it’s not all pools and lounge chairs.
Feeling the urge to get away from the crowds, my family wandered upon a little-known town called Barra De Navidad, just 3 hours south of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
As I sit here reflecting on the past year, I find it hard to know where to start. 2010 has been full of new adventures and a lot of big changes.
