Photogenic Puerto Rico: A Photo Journey Through San Juan

Photogenic Puerto Rico: A Photo Journey Through San Juan

Puerto Rico is a stunning island with a vibrant culture, rich heritage and beautiful beaches. These San Juan photos will inspire your next visit!

I traveled to Puerto Rico in January to experience the San Juan Marriott and get a glimpse of the surrounding area. Puerto Rico was never really on my radar — probably because I grew up on the West Coast of the United States — but I’m always game for tropical islands with stunning beaches no matter how far I have to travel.

Just because Puerto Rico is known by more East Coasters doesn’t mean it’s not worth the extra travel time for those of us who don’t live nearby. Ever since I came back from this small island, my friends haven’t been able to get me to shut up about it.

I’m still going through loads of photos from the trip, but I was able to edit a few iPhone shots to share in the meantime. We all know photos can speak a thousand words, so I’ll let the photos do the talking for now — but stay tuned for upcoming detailed posts on Puerto Rico.
