Rome Accommodation Hostel
We were expecting a dump. You know, the kind of hostel you would normally find near a train station in a big city. However, this couldn’t have been further from the truth.
Our host at the Rome Accommodation Hostel kindly stayed up until 1 am to greet us at the door with a friendly smile. Near the front desk, we couldn’t help but notice the walls were covered with a collection of yellow post-it notes containing thank you letters written by previous guests.
Our host quickly checked us in, noticing our sleepy eyes, and escorted us to our private room. What awaited us was one of the nicest hostel rooms we have ever seen.
A very spacious bedroom with marble floors, a brick vaulted ceiling, and full bath complete with small tub. Our fridge was stocked with a complimentary bottle of champagne and the room even had its own computer for guests to use – a very nice touch.
Our only disappointment was that we had a tight schedule and were not able to spend more than one night in this lovely hostel.
Situated only steps away from the Rome Termini Station, we were shocked at how quiet it was at night. We slept like rocks in our huge, comfortable bed.
7:30 am came dreadfully too soon, but luckily for us, the new staff member on duty was prepared. She helped us with the train schedule to the airport and brought us breakfast right to our room.
I guess we have a little unfinished business with this hostel. The cute little hallway filled with yellow post-it notes is missing one from us. We’ll have to mail one over when we get home. Hopefully you will come and place one on the wall next to ours.
We want to thank the staff of Rome Accommodation Hostel and Hostel Bookers for hosting us during our short stay in Rome and making our stay exceptional.
